Barre is a combination of Yoga, Pilates and Ballet for the ultimate workout. It's high energy and is great for toning and getting those heart rates going! For anyone who wants to give it a try, I will be holding a 4 week course focusing on building strength in the body. Please click on the link below to book your place.
Barre helps strengthen and tone your muscles without increasing bulk, and it improves your posture. It also increases cardiovascular endurance and metabolism, which helps to quickly burn calories. Regular barre workouts can increase your bone density, which can help prevent conditions like osteoporosis

Join me for a gentle yoga flow as we explore the different layers of the Pelvic Floor. We're always told to do our kegles but these don't allow us to strengthen all the way up and focus mainly on the superficial layer.
I'll be taking you through some poses that will help to build strength and stability that you can also continue with at home, which can aid in the following:
Being pregnant is a beautiful experience to be able to grow this tiny human inside of you, but can take it's toll on our bodies.
As your body changes, things can get a little uncomfortable and yoga can be a great way to help with these changes.
Reducing aches and pains, help improve sleep and most importantly gives you time to bond with your unborn baby.
During the 4 weeks we will focus on breathing and relaxation techniques whilst giving you time to meet other expectant mums.
These classes will be suitable for you from 12 weeks pregnant all the way up to giving birth.

I will be hosting a Yoga and Wine tasting morning at West Street Vineyards in Coggeshal.
Date TBC
The day will start with an hour long yoga class outside on the beautiful vineyards followed by a meditation.
This will be a fun and gentle practise focusing on poses to uplift and energise.
We will then move on to an hour long Wine tasting lead by the experts at West Street (I've not quite mastered this yet) where we will sample the different local wines including a sparking wine.
Please note, this will equate to 1 glass in total if you did want to drive and not continue drinking,
We will finish the afternoon with a healthy lunch together and of course, more wine if you wish.
If you would like to make a day of it and come with some friends and continue trying the different wines, please let me know if you need assistance arranging transport and I can arrange a group taxi.

Yoga at a hen party has become more and more popular. A great way to start a day of fun with either a relaxing stretch, or a partner yoga class.
Every office worker knows what that mid-day slump feels like. Luckily, yoga doesn’t just provide a workout, but gives a person some much-needed energy.
Not only does office yoga give a boost of energy, but it can prevent a burnout feeling. Published in 2015, a study focused on nurses who performed yoga sessions over an eight-week stretch. Despite working an exhausting job, the nurses noted fewer feelings of burnout.
Along with the feeling of exhaustion, work can create stress. The tension, frustration and hurried feeling can take a toll on employees.
A study from the University of Utah tested brain activity from people in pain. Participants who regularly performed yoga exhibited far less of a stressful reaction when put in slight pain.
With that improved stress relief, also comes less anger at work. Studies have proven a significant decrease in the hormone that produces aggression after office yoga.
It may seem counterproductive to spend a half hour doing yoga in the office. That quickly becomes 30 minutes where you can’t respond to emails or answer a phone call. But, once that half hour is up, employees should notice an uptick in their focus.
We know that yoga reduces stress, improves focus and improves energy.
According to the Mayo Clinic, office yoga can also help manage chronic health conditions. Cancer, insomnia, high blood pressure, and even depression can improve with regular yoga.
